Founder’s Profile

The Founder of Pieterson’s Educare is a product of Fijai Senior High School and a graduate of the University of Professional Studies, Accra, with a degree in Public Relations Management. Based in Accra, 23 years old and married, she brings extensive expertise in leadership, strategic communication, and organizational development. Her academic training includes Principles of Leadership, Organizational Behavior, NGO in Public Relations, Crisis and Issues Management, and Critical Thinking, providing a strong foundation for both social impact and operational excellence.

The vision to establish Pieterson’s Educare has been a driving force since primary school. Observing that many students were not encouraged or motivated based on their efforts, and influenced by her experience growing up with a single mother’s resilience in raising her and her siblings after the passing of their father. Witnessing how her mother prioritized education despite numerous challenges motivated her to support students, particularly those from struggling families, and empower single mothers, ensuring that education becomes a key pathway to success. She was determined to create an NGO that encourages, supports, and provides opportunities for students, especially those who struggle to keep up or lack guidance, with the ultimate goal of building a better society.

She has professional experience within public sector institutions, including the Ministry of Health, where she led initiatives in stakeholder engagement, media relations, and institutional communications.

In the private sector, she works with Consam Enterprise, a franchisee of Voltic Ghana and a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Africa, gaining hands-on experience in industrial operations, distribution management, and supply chain logistics. She is also a serial entrepreneur, operating two successful businesses, which has strengthened her business acumen, strategic planning, and operational discipline.

Currently preparing to pursue a Master’s degree in Canada, she integrates advanced knowledge in logistics and systems management to ensure that her non-profit and business ventures operate with efficiency, accountability, and long-term sustainability. Her leadership combines corporate operational rigor, entrepreneurial insight, and a lifelong passion for education, motivation, and youth empowerment, ensuring measurable and sustainable social impact.

Project Highlights

Empowering Young Minds: Inter-School Quiz Competition (2024)

In an exciting project with the approval with the Ghana Education Service (GES) – Ahanta West, we hosted a quiz competition for six basic schools in the region. Guided by our motto, “Igniting minds, unleashing opportunities,” the event aimed to encourage learning, spark curiosity, and foster a healthy spirit of competition among students.

The quiz featured general knowledge, spelling, and other academic challenges, allowing students to showcase their skills, think critically, and work as a team. Beyond testing knowledge, the competition created an environment where students could learn from each other, build confidence, and celebrate achievement.

The initiative received strong support and appreciation from key stakeholders. The Director of the Ghana Education Service (GES) – Ahanta West Municipal, Mr George Effah expressed his delight at the positive impact of the quiz competition on the students. Likewise, Mr. Daniel Payne, the Human Resource Manager, commended the project during his speech, describing it as an excellent initiative that promotes learning, healthy competition, and student engagement.

Both leaders encouraged the continuation of this program, and we are proud to announce that it has been officially recognized as an annual project. We look forward to hosting this quiz competition every year, creating ongoing opportunities for students to learn, grow, and shine academically.

The response from both students and teachers was overwhelmingly positive. Many students expressed excitement about participating, while teachers praised the initiative for promoting intellectual growth and camaraderie among learners. Events like this not only highlight academic excellence but also nurture curiosity, teamwork, and healthy competition which are essential qualities for the leaders of tomorrow.

We are proud to see our young learners engaged, motivated, and eager to explore the world of knowledge. This quiz competition is just one of many initiatives we plan to implement to support education, inspire students, and create opportunities for success.

Caring for Hearts: Annual Support to the Ghana Heart Foundation

As part of our commitment to community well-being, we proudly support the Ghana Heart Foundation, an organization that assists individuals affected by heart and cardiovascular conditions. Each year, we provide both financial contributions and essential items to help patients with their treatment and care.

We understand that many patients face challenges in covering all the costs associated with managing heart conditions. We believe that our support, though not covering everything, can make a meaningful difference, helping them access medications, treatments, and basic necessities during their recovery.

Through this annual initiative, we aim to provide hope, care, and encouragement to those battling heart-related illnesses. Our ongoing partnership with the Ghana Heart Foundation reflects our dedication to compassion, community support, and health advocacy.

Spreading Love : Support to Children’s Home (2025/2026)

Guided by our mission to support those in need, we have visited Royal Seed Home and Osu Children’s Home, an orphanage dedicated to nurturing and supporting children without parental care. During our visit, we donated cash, food items, clothing, and other essential supplies to help meet the day-to-day needs of the children.

We understand that many children in orphanages face challenges in accessing basic necessities, and our support is aimed at making their lives a little brighter and more comfortable. Through these donations, we hope to provide practical assistance, joy, and encouragement, letting the children know they are seen, valued, and cared for.

This initiative reflects our commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
